The Eight-Day St. Michael Pilgrimage follows one of Britain’s most compelling sacred pathways, traveling from the mysteries of Glastonbury through Devon and Cornwall to the western edge of the land.

This immersive experience brings together ancient stone circles, holy wells, abbey ruins, dramatic churches, windswept moors and legendary sites connected with King Arthur and Merlin. Along the way, Dr. Kamyar Hedayat will guide participants through the symbolic and spiritual significance of each location, exploring the relationship between the natural world, human consciousness and the sacred feminine and masculine.

This is more than a tour. It is an invitation to enter the landscape as a pilgrim—to slow down, listen deeply and encounter the ancient world with new eyes.

Eight-Day Itinerary

​

Day One: Arrival in Glastonbury

Arrive in Glastonbury, settle into your hotel and gather for an opening orientation. The pilgrimage begins with a special welcome dinner and an introduction to the St. Michael Alignment.

Day Two: Avebury and Glastonbury Tor

Travel to Avebury Stone Circle, one of the largest and oldest prehistoric stone landscapes in the world. Participants will be introduced to the St. Michael Alignment and begin preparing for the journey toward its origins by the sea. Return to the Glastonbury countryside and conclude the day with an optional sunset climb of the Tor.

Day Three: Chalice Well and Glastonbury Abbey

Spend a tranquil morning at Chalice Well and its sacred gardens. In the afternoon, explore the expansive grounds and ancient ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, traditionally associated with St. Joseph of Arimathea, King Arthur and the legendary Isle of Avalon.

Day Four: Devon and the Dragons of Brentor

Journey into Devon to visit the dramatic Church of St. Michael de Rupe at Brentor, perched high upon an ancient volcanic outcrop. Explore the symbolism of the dragon currents and continue into Cornwall, settling near Bodmin Moor among wild horses, mist and mystery.

 

Day Five: St. Michael’s Mount and Land’s End

Visit the extraordinary island sanctuary of St. Michael’s Mount, where several ancient alignments are believed to converge. Enjoy time on the island before continuing to Land’s End, the westernmost landscape associated with the beginning of the St. Michael Alignment.

Day Six: Reflection and Integration

A quieter day provides space for rest, personal reflection and processing. Participants will have time to integrate the teachings and experiences encountered along the journey.

Day Seven: Tintagel and Merlin’s Cave

Enter the legendary landscape of Tintagel, traditionally associated with the birth of King Arthur. Walk the ancient pathways, experience the rugged Cornish coastline and visit Merlin’s Cave before gathering for a sumptuous farewell dinner.

Day Eight: Completion and Return

The pilgrimage concludes with a final reflection and departure for London, carrying home the insights, relationships and memories formed along the ancient alignment.

Hotel accommodations for the pilgrimage, lunch and dinner, scheduled sacred-site admissions, guided teachings, exclusive materials, group practices, welcome and farewell gatherings and private group guidance with Dr. Kamyar Hedayat.

Not Included

Airfare and transportation are not included. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights and all ground transportation throughout the pilgrimage, including transportation from London to Glastonbury, between pilgrimage destinations and back to London.

 

Optional activities or admissions not identified as part of the scheduled pilgrimage, including any optional Stonehenge visit, are not included.

The itinerary may be adjusted when necessary because of weather, site access or other circumstances. Any changes will preserve the spirit and quality of the pilgrimage.
